The Month In Which The Rewards Of Good Deeds Are Multiplied (Dhul-Hijjah)

Please read it, regardless you know or not, certainly,
InshaAllah there is a great benefit for each one of us.

Dhu al-Hijjah (ذو الحجة) is the twelfth and final month in the Islamic Calendar.
This is a very sacred month in the Islamic calendar, marking the end of the year. It is in this month in which the Hajj Pilgrimage takes place.
"Dhul-Hijjah" literally means ‘Possesor of the Pilgrimage.’ It is during this month that pilgrims from all around the world congregate at Makkah to visit the Ka'aba. The Hajj is performed on the eighth, ninth and the tenth of this month. Day of Arafat takes place on the ninth of the month. Eid ul-Adha, the ‘Festival of the Sacrifice,’ begins on the tenth day and ends on the 13th.

Praise be to Allah Who has created Time and has made some times better than others, some months and days and nights better than others, when rewards are multiplied many times, as a mercy towards His slaves. This encourages them to do more righteous deeds and makes them more eager to worship Him, so that the Muslim renews his efforts to gain a greater share of reward, prepare himself for death and supply himself in readiness for the Day of Judgement
Allah says:
By the Dawn; By the ten Nights; (89:1-2)
This oath substantiates the greatness and sacredness of these ten nights in the eyes of Allah. This is an extra ordinary oath; it is very reliable and significant and the wise men can understand that by this oath, Allah too attaches great importance and value to the ten nights of Dhul Hijjah.

This season of worship brings many benefits, such as the opportunity to correct one’s faults and make up for any shortcomings or anything that one might have missed. Every one of these special occasions involves some kind of worship through which the slaves may draw closer to Allah, and some kind of blessing though which Allah bestows His favour and mercy upon whomsoever He will. The happy person is the one who makes the most of these special months, days and hours and draws nearer to his Lord during these times through acts of worship; he will most likely be touched by the blessing of Allah and will feel the joy of knowing that he is safe from the flames of Hell. (Ibn Rajab, al-Lataa’if, p.8)

The Muslim must understand the value of his life, increase his worship of Allah and persist in doing good deeds until the moment of death.

Allah Almighty is most Merciful. He likes to provide to His servants opportunities for repentance, and He likes to see His servants seek nearness with Him by the acts of obedience. Therefore, Allah Almighty makes to us days of blessing, every year, in which He multiplies the reward to encourage us to work in them.
In the days of exams or presenting projects of work we do our best for achieving the marks of success and excellence. Hence, why would not we work in these days to achieve the highest marks of excellence in the exam of Hereafter? Indeed, working in these days is better than working in the other days of the year. Allah Almighty says: {That they may witness things that are of benefit to them (i.e. reward of Hajj in the Hereafter, and also some worldly gain from trade, etc.), and mention the Name of Allah on appointed days (i.e. 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th day of Dhul-Hijjah), over the beast of cattle that He has provided for them (for sacrifice) (at the time of their slaughtering by saying: Bismillah, WAllahu-Akbar, Allahumma Minka wa Ilaik). Then eat thereof and feed therewith the poor who have a very hard time.} [Surat Al-Hajj 22:28]
In this worldly life, when we love a person, we do our best to please him and we do what makes us near to him. In fact, loving Allah Almighty must be the greatest love in every Muslim’s heart. Why not? Actually, Allah Almighty is the One Who bestows upon us all the boons that we have. Therefore, we should seek nearness with Him by doing whatever He likes and abstain from whatever He does not like to gain His love.
The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are marked blessed for both, the pilgrims and the non-pilgrims. Rewards of good deeds are multiplied in these days. Imam Ibn Qayyim (rahimahullah) said: “Indeed, its days are the most excellent of all the days with Allah. It has been confirmed in Saheeh Al-Bukhari from Ibn Abbas (radhi allahu anhu) that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: “No deed are more virtuous than deeds on these days.” The companions asked: 'Not even Jihad (fighting in Allah's Cause)?' He (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) replied: “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah, unless a man goes out risking himself and his wealth for the sake of Allah, and does not come back with anything.” [Saheeh al-Bukharee vol: 2, no: 457] And it is these ten days, of which Allah takes an oath saying: “By the dawn; by the ten nights.” [Soorah al-Fajr (89): 1-2] This is why it is recommended to increase in making Takbeer, Tahlil and Tamhid during these days.”
